Sunlit Youth is the third studio album by American indie rock band Local Natives, released on September 9, 2016 with Loma Vista Recordings.[1]

Local Natives released their third album, Sunlit Youth, back in September via Loma Vista and Infectious Music.Now the band has shared a remix of Sunlit Youth track “Dark Days” by Los Angeles-based electronic duo Classixx. Sunlit Youth received generally favorable reviews from contemporary music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 75, based on 12 reviews, which indicates 'generally favorable reviews'. All tracks are written by Local Natives.

Release[edit]
The album was preceded by the singles 'Past Lives,' 'Villainy,' 'Fountain of Youth,' and 'Coins'.[2][3][4][5] Before its release, 'Past Lives' was featured in the episode '7th' from the first season of the Netflix series Flaked, which was released on March 11, 2016.
